Saam Gabbay is an Iranian-born creative director and photographer working in Venice, CA and New York City.

Saam has been holding cameras since age 4. He uses the camera to connect to people, and so to connect the viewer to that moment. When this flow happens, he usually makes some sort of uncontrollably jubilant expression.

His diverse work has been featured on the cover of and inside BIG Magazine, Art Forum, Flash Art, RES, URB, Yoga Journal as well as various art and music related websites. His commercial projects include Apple, Infiniti, MGM Grand and Belvedere Vodka.

Saam's cinematography and photography for New Yorker artist Katy Schimert have been shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoCA, the Tate Modern and galleries worldwide.

His favorite personal projects are to make photfilms using thousands of images. You can watch them on his podcast.

Saam is also the founder of HUMUNCULUS, a boutique design/creative agency in Venice.
